Hermine’s Old World Confections have earned numerous ribbons. A feast of traditional recipes from the “Old Country”, the signature “2005” Truffle pictured above is a scrumptious combination of marzipan, hazelnuts and nougat covered in dark chocolate. All Hermine’s confections are hand made in her commercial kitchen with fresh ingredients. What could be more appropriate for Idaho than Hermine’s creative artistry for her “U.S. #1 Idaho potatoes, hand sculpted of marzipan and rolled in cocoa powder to simulate the earth.

Revel in authentic Lebkuchen (German honeycakes), made with honey, spices and unbleached flour. In her Coeur d’Alene shop, Hermine is Open Mon.-Sat. 10am-5pm, closed Thurs. Call for special orders—and catering of delicious truffles and other specialties for weddings, parties and events.
